Along with the specialized activities, the regular activities will also keep you active with your peers. These include card parties, Bible studies, memory enhancement activities, exercises, reading activities, along with special food events, and much, much more.

Westview gives you several opportunities to keep involved, and to help you to entertain friends and family in a special way.

Soup suppers are a monthly activity at Westview. Family and friends are invited to these suppers, which are free of charge to all invited.

Speakers are always on the schedule, from cake decorators, to historians, to medical speakers, or like the speakers we had this day, who showed off her hat collection, and gave history of hats. Many of the residents were able to try on the hats.

Day trips to various places, and functions are also planned. This day, residents were treated to a view of Lake McConaughy to view the devastion of the drought in the area.

Theme weeks are another part of the atmosphere at Westview. From the Dog Days of Summer, to Rubber Chicken week. Activities are tailored around the theme. Above, the staff of Westview is shown in costume for a melodrama they put on during Western Week during the summer of 2003
